Sections of Playas de Nosara
Section A is highlighted by the Nosara River mouth offering private homes and establishments on a hillside with ocean views, as well as access to the river for fishing, kayaking, horsestables and the exotic black sand.
Section B has easy access to both the beaches and the village and can be found at the "five corners". Lush forests and creeks, large tree studded lots and delightful homes on the hill all around.
Section C traverses Pelada Beach from Pelada Point, home to the famous Nosara Hotel, all the way to the "five corners" with diverse topography including an incredible ridge for expansive ocean views, 2 valleys and a sleepy hollow. Exquisite homes abound, surrounded by jungle. Here you will also find the almost private sparkling white sand of Playa Pelada, with its' amazing rock formations and coral reefs.
Section D boasts superior ocean views along with serene vistas of surrounding mountains and farmlands affording spectacular sunrises and sunsets, with gorgeous wooded lots and luxury homes on a ridge. Mucho tranquillo!
Section E overlooks the expansive Nosara Valley with its picturesque mountains and forests from one side and the deep blue Pacific from the other is decked out with high-end properties.
Section EE hidden by deep forest and up a long secluded hill includes ultimate views, nature preserves and estate quality homes with delightful architectura.
Section F is situated off a private, somewhat rugged road leading to an artistic mountain that fronts the ocean and embraces homes along the way. There is a rugged portion of mountain here that boasts some of the best ocean views around.
Section G ( Beach Front Lots) Perfect for surfers these homes straddle the Guines beach front. There are several surfer schools here as well as a mini supra. There are beach front lots here as well as several homes set back a few blocks from the beach. (Playas de Nosara Subdivision) Very popular section of town becasuse of proximity to good surf beaches and supplies.
Section H Known as the American Project, this primarily a residential section. However there are 2 hotels being built here as well as a condo project.
Section I Sometimes known as the beach corner, this 3 way intersection is the primary turn off from the main road in and leads the way to the most popular surf beach in Guiones. There is a commercial strip here of banks, shops and restaurants. The landmark here is the Cafe de Paris Hotel which is a favorite place to stay with the yogis who visit the Nosara Yoga Institute.
Section J consists of a combination of private homes and commercial ventures including hotels, spa services, workout gyms, surfboard and ATV rentals. It also features a southern entrance to the world reknowned Playa Guiones surf beach, a long, pristine stretch of silky white sand.
Section K is where you find some of Nosara's original settlers with a few homes right at the waters edge. This area is mostly residential, nestled in the lush jungle ambience with private tennis courts and horse stables. Off the beaten path, there are more trees, less traffic and the chance for some seclusion!
Section L is tucked away in the trees along a scenic road that leads to the Village of Nosara. Away from the beach by several minutes, there is much less activity and a more natural, quiet setting for some attractive homes.
Section M is under reforestation and has been planted with hardwood trees such as teak. It is flows along a ridge and the access road is currently kept locked. No development can be found.
Section N is an historic section that follows both sides of the road to the Nosara Village. Gorgeous green fincas and serene rice fields line the riverfront. Watch for the impressive free range cattle and sleek horses!
Section R is home to the Biological Reserve with magnificent flora and fauna. A birdwatchers' dream come true, there are unsurpassed opportunities for natural experiences including hiking, fishing, and kayaking. Offering large fincas and undeveloped acreage of dense forest, the Nosara River is nearby. |
